CFREPORT & RTF

When creating a rtf file I have by default a black border (called 'lines' in word) on every field. I use MS Office Word 2003, SP3 to read the file. I noticed other versions from word (SP1, SP2) don't have this problem. Is there a way to tell the report builder to not put those 'lines' around every field?
(btw, i'm sure the border property is set to none!)
