Hi,
I want to install Reports Builder, but I don't have ColdFusion on my machine, It's installed on a server that I access through a network, actually several. I write ColdFusion pages in Dreamweaver and then simply save them to a folder I make and test them. I have been building a reports tool by hand, and while having some degree of success( thanks in large part to this dev forum)., it is taking a long time. I would love to try out this tool, but I'm sure it won't install with out CF on my machine. So, my question is: Can I install a local version of CF on my machine to install and run the Reports Builder Tool, or will that screw things up, or even not work because the server has to be told to read the special tag? I am pretty sure we are running MX 7, but with so many servers, I'm not even sure who administrates the one(s) I use, and if they would even want to try it, with all the red tape to go through. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
